How we do it?
Methodology
The beneficiaries of social projects are quite diverse in terms of demographic factors. The target beneficiaries of any intervention may range from very young children to the elderly.
In view of this, Swissocial has developed different matrices and indices to measure social impact, depending on the age of the beneficiaries being evaluated. Each Index has a set of weighted indicators to measure the four components of the Swissocial matrix.
The Socio-Economic Welfare Index (SEWI)
a tool for measuring impact where the beneficiaries are over the age of 18 (working life).
The Early Childhood Development Index (ECDI)
Suitable for measuring impact where the beneficiaries are between 2 and 5 years old.
The Personal-Educational Development Index (PEDI)
Suitable for measuring impact where the beneficiaries are children and pre-teen (6 to 12) or teenagers and young people (13 – 18 years).
